  1. July 2026

    • Subtitle animation studio: 45 grouped caption animations including karaoke wipe and word-by-word highlight, with animation search, favorites, and per-word styling — 176 caption presets in total
    • Editor performance pass: faster project open and smoother playback on long timelines
    • New editorial policy page, team bylines, and real last-updated dates on every guide and blog post

    • Desktop apps for Mac, Windows, and Linux, plus a new downloads hub
    • Templates v2: placeholders, replace-media, bulk CSV rendering, and a public REST API with an MCP server for agents
    • AI voices: 63 voices with streaming preview and voice cloning
    • Recorder studio: camera, screen, and teleprompter recording in the browser
    • Command palette (⌘K) in all 17 languages
    • Keyframe editing on track lanes, canvas zoom & pan, and paste media straight from the clipboard
    • 21 free tools redesigned end to end
    • 18 blend modes and layer masks for visual segments
